Exam Certificates
12 Nov 2012Exam Certificates from the Summer 2012 series are available for collection from the Exams Office as of week commencing 12th November. If you are a former student and would like certificates collected on your behalf by either a parent, friend or sibling, please send a letter of authorisation to Mrs Knight, Exams Manager. There are still a number of certificates held in school for previous exam series so please contact Mrs Knight for further details if you believe we may have yours.

OFSTED praises Chenderit's literacy work
19 Oct 2012We are a national case study of best practice. We are proud but not complacent. Last week were delighted to be chosen as only one of six schools in the whole of England to be an OFSTED Case Study of outstanding literacy. OFSTED visited us, observed lessons, discussed our vision and impact. They will publish their report on their website in due course.I shall let you know when it is available. Thanks to everyone for making our literacy project such a success.

Chenderit School celebrates outstanding examination results at A Level.
16 Aug 2012Headteacher Graham Tyrer said: “I am delighted for the young people, their families and teachers. These results represent such hard work and commitment. It means the futures our students had dreamed of can now be realised. These grades are even better than when OFSTED judged us to be Outstanding.”

RESULTS DAYS 2012
19 Jul 2012A level results will be available for collection from 09.00 on 16th August from the school dining hall. AS level students can collect their results from 10.00 on the same day. Year 11 can collect their GCSE results from 09.00 on 23rd August from the school dining hall. Year 10 can come at 10.00 and those year 9 students expecting some unit results can come after 11.00.

Adult Evening Classes
28 Dec 2011Adult evening classes resume on Tuesday 10th January running from 7 - 9 pm for 10 weeks. Enrollment is in the class on the first evening or in advance by ringing 01295 711567. Classes featured this term are Pottery and modelling in clay, Digital Photography, Life Drawing and a NEW CLASS in Computer Skills for beginners. Costs are £60 for 10 weeks.
Student classes in the Art Department start on Thursday 12th January
