Visual Arts and Community
Chenderit School achieved specialist school status in the visual arts in September 2002.
Our aim is to continue to raise the standards of achievement in the arts, to extend curricular and extra-curricular opportunities and to broaden participation, interest and enthusiasm for the arts within school, within our partner schools and within the wider community. We see our resource as the communities' resource and wish to encourage visitors to the exhibitions in the new gallery, to attend the lectures and to become actively involved in the classes and courses that are offered.
We hope that you will visit our artist in residence and take the opportunity to use the space and its facilities to further your own creative endeavours and interests.
