Examinations Handbook
Chenderit School is committed to ensuring that all candidates are fully briefed on the exam and assessment process in place in the centre and are made aware of the required JCQ awarding body instructions and information for candidates. This booklet contains all the information that students, parents and carers need to know regarding the examination regulations and procedures. You will also find some useful dates and frequently asked questions contained within it.
If you have any further questions in regards to internal or external examinations, please contact Mrs N Barlow, our Data and Examinations Manager, using the 'Contact Us' form here.
Examination Certificates
Certificates from Summer 2024 will be available from December 2024 to collect; confirmation of this will be sent to candidates once they are available.
Please note the following when collecting certificates:
You will need to sign for them and may be asked for ID
If you are unable to collect your own certificates you can ask someone to collect for you. They must have a signed letter of authority to do so from yourself and they will be asked for ID. If this is not available our receptionist is instructed not to give the certificates out.
Any student who has requested a sibling to pick up their certificates, please ask them to do so from reception and again ensure they have written permission from you to do so.
You can contact the Exams Office using the 'Contact Us' form here to request alternative arrangements for collection.
We strongly recommend you collect certificates, as they cost approximately £50.00 each to replace. We are legally obliged to keep them for 12 months, after that we will securely destroy them as we only hold certificates for 12 months.
Please ensure you collect your certificates as replacement certificates can only be obtained from the Awarding Bodies and they will charge you a substantial fee:
